How long do transfers take with Xe? ›

It's a short process—your recipient should have their money within 1-4 business days. Most transfers are completed within the day.

How Safe Is XE Money Transfer? Transfers done through XE, owned by the multibillion-dollar company Euronet Worldwide, are considered safe. Among other things, XE touts its security, fraud prevention and technology capabilities, and emphasizes its track record of processing more than $115 billion in transfers.

When you initiate a money transfer through Xe, after entering your currency exchange information, you'll be asked who your recipient is. Select “Yes” in response to the question “Are you sending money to your own account?” in order to initiate a self-transfer.
