Mr. Rasmussen was born in Traer and lived in Adel 18 years. Prior to that he lived in Sioux Falls, S.D., and West Des Moines. He was a warehouse foreman for Aristech Chemical Corp. in Ankeny.

Joint services for Mr. Kuhns and his wife, Waunita, 70, who died of a heart ailment Thursday at Des Moines General Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be at Stuart Cemetery in Adelphi. Mrs.
Kuhns' service was postponed from Monday. Mr. Kuhns was born in Carlisle and lived in the Adelphi area and Des Moines before moving to St. Charles 16 years ago. He retired after serving as St.
Charles town marshal and an employee of the waterworks. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and had been a member of the Masonic Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are a son, Robert of St. Charles; three brothers, Malvin Sr. of Redfield and Ora and Alvin, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Maxine Rusho of North Liberty and Helene Lingafelter of Moline, and three grandchildren.

He also had been past president of the Veterans Administration Credit Union and served on the care review committee at Bishop Drumm Care Center.
